The DSi is the ultimate drunken-adult-toy.
Recently, you might have noticed DS-Lite prices dropping, some colors were selling for about $100.
I myself was pretty tempted to get one, even though I knew the Nintendo DSi would be out in April. Initially the DSi’s new features just didn’t seem like a reason to wait, let alone pay anything extra for. Nintendo even rates the DSi as having a lower battery life when compared to the DS-lite. The DSi doesn’t even play GBA games!
But, a little more digging did eventually change my mind. First and foremost, the DSi will have a music player, it might not work with mp3’s but it looks quite promising:

In summary, the player works well in a pinch, and if you’re bored, you can even mess around with different effects with your songs. Seems like a fantastic & hilarious way to pass the time, or impress your drunken friends in a bar. Apply that same child-like logic to the DSi’s camera function, and its pretty obvious where I’m heading. While it fails to function better then a cell-phone camera, it still gives the user some toys to play around with picture-wise.
So basically, you’ve got a system that’ll keep you entertained on the cab-ride over to your bar, give you and your drunken friends tons of silly things to laugh about, and then keep you entertained the next day as you stay in bed and recover from a hang-over. Take that Apple & Sony!
